Hi we are Joshua and Kelly! We met at church after Joshua had spent the first few decades of his life living all over the state of Texas! Kelly was a private nanny for multiple families for over a decade where her love of children really blossomed. She learned how easy it was to love a child that wasn’t biologically hers. Joshua studied biology and is a physics teacher and a high school coach. He has coached football and basketball and currently coaches baseball and cross country.
We have a 9 year old daughter and a 6 year old son who both love sports! We stay busy with gymnastics and baseball all week long!
Community is one of the most important parts of our lives. We lead a class for young married couples at our church and spend a majority of our time fostering relationships and encouraging young families. We are frequent hosts of chili dinner nights and football watching (Kelly says “Who Dat” but Joshua says “How bout them Cowboys”) with side performances from our kids of amateur concerts and acrobatics shows. We live close to our family and are lucky to have Sunday lunch with them almost every week.
After talking about adoption since before we were married, we felt God’s call to us to pursue the desire. If you are considering us, we are praying for you! We feel honored beyond belief to be a part of a story that is so much bigger than we could imagine for ourselves, and one that includes you and your baby.
